The one I used for years is this one…it’s produced by Kings and comes in a white bag with red, blue and yellow sand toys on the front of it.
I have used this sand for years and it has never caused any issues if ingested or if it gets in their eyes.

I can’t find a link for it now…it may have been replaced with a different name or company.
It might be this one. The sand looks the same…

The one you showed is the type that can cause impactions in reptiles, I believe.

With all reptiles and probably every other animal, never ever use calcium sand. The way it is shaped, it clumps together if ingested and forms impactions. Regular washed play sand is much better. If that is ingested, it is more likely to be able to pass naturally and not cause impaction. I recall seeing a graphic about it, but unable to find. Maybe it was in a video I watched long ago.

Yes you want "first sand" or "washed sand". Calcium sand clumps vs drains. And if you just get "normal sand" its going to be sand used for industrial used and then "recycled" into bags and sold for landscaping etc. Unfortunately "second sand" has tons of powdered silica dust, and as soon as that stuff dries out, it go air born. And thats how humans get Silicosis of the lungs, which is why a mask is required just to work with the stuff indoors.
