Safe to eat?

I just caught a giant moth with striping on it's back and redish brown wings. Is it safe? I hope to get a quick response because I will be letting it go if not.

yes, it is safe.

I had picked sandrachameleons brain earlier on moths and she said that if its a moth they are generally safe but stay clear of butterflys. They usually cause problems..... Hope this helped.
