Retained Shed

Do these pictures look like my guy has got any retained shed?
He is angry at the camera!
I know you can use mineral oil, but how?
In the pics you can see some white flecks in the back of his body.
He is all puffed up and really ugly brown.

Full body shot.

Back rear shot.

He was oversupplemented last night, I tried to supplement him with a silkie and I guess it got too overcoated.

He had a big salt deposit coming out of his nose, can this be more coming out of his scales?
I haven't noticed this before so I don't know if tis retained shed.

Thanks!

Silk worms are very well supplemented theirself and do not need any additional dusting.

As for the shed it's probably ok. Veileds have some shed on them some where just about all the time. If it gets bad and stays on to long you can dip a Q-tip into very warm water and then rub the shed off with the wet Q-tip.

Silkworms have the correct calcium without d3?
So when I feed silkies no dusting?
Unless its on a cal with d3 day or herptivite day.

Correct?

I use silkies and crix.
In this case I will not dust silkies ever.
On days with silkies, they're no dustings.
On days w/o silkies, dustings.

when my girls shed they will have little flecks of leftover skin here and there but it usually comes off in a couple days iv never had to worry about it :) but if you are you can mist a little extra with warm water and that will help with the shedding.
i also never dust silkies
but i dust crickets every 4 days.
