Hello all,
I recently rescued a pair of veiled chameleons. They were giving away because the kids outgrew them stopped paying attention to them and they knew I would take care of them. The family had them for 5 months and I'm guessing they bought them very young because they had always been in one cage.( I have since separated them.) I have had them about 1 week and I noticed that the females tail is damage. I thought this was done to her by one of the old owners. It turned out to be the male. I saw him bite it and throw her down to the bottom of the cage. The tail looks dead to me and I thought that part might fall off? Will it? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
