random spot on his head

I've noticed my fully grown Yemen male has a spot on his head just above eye level... its a small bump that feels slightly soft and looks like it may have puss in it.. tis a bit white.....
are cham's prone to spots?!?
i cant get a pic sorted as my camera doesn't work....
might this heal itself?

could be a cyst. and no it wont heal itself..
i think its vet visit time.

but if its a bump and it grows, its a cyst, and it iwil have to be drianed and cleaned, and then you will need antibiotics

ive just googled it and ended up on a thread on here from a cham owner with the exact same problem and his has pics!! ive replied to it so it may be on the current page ... does that make sense?

sounds like an nfection of the nasal glands.


sorry, vet visit time.

the lack of food isnt good.

and only a vet can treat it properly.

as i siad it will need to be lanced, cleaned, tested for what it is, and then antibiotics prescribed.

welll because its a cyst, im sure the vet will have dealt with it on other animals. so its not much different on a cham.

just seen he's got a lot of white in his nose.. can only see one side.. the same as his bump...
hope this cyst doesn't go too far down!
at least he ate something
whats the best way to take them to the vet.. last time I popped him in a pillow case on advice from here...

either the white is shed, or just salt build up from the nostril, totally normal.

and id just a soft towel inside a shoe box, and take him that way.

well we went to the vet and she gave me some antibiotics to see if the lump goes down...
he's not eating much tho.....
