Rain Dome vs Mister

New to the forum and I love it, tons of info. Quick question, is one better than the other, rain dome or mister? Thinking of buying a baby Kinyongia Multituberculata and I was wondering if the softer rainfall of a rain dome would be better for a single pet chameleon. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone.

Hi and welcome!, I really like the natural effect of rain the Aqua Zamp replicates. The mistking is a fine mist. Mine use both, AquaZamp is great for drinking and humidity, mk is good for eye washing and humidity, if that makes any sense

Thanks for replying, so would you say I could use the rain dome only? Does it also have interval and duration settings like a misting unit?

I agree with Anne. I just got a rain dome at the show this month and really like it and think it would for sure be the ticket for a species like a Multi. I personally really like the two and three nozzle domes that cover more of the enclosure.

No worries on the stuff!!! I just bought one he had at the show... I think you saw it it's the three head one for the 2x2x4 cages. I am not sure if they are special order but I did notice they aren't on the site that I can find. Also I think he gave me one hell of a deal on it considering it has three sprayers in it plus the dome...hmmm he hooked me up and I didn't even realize it till now

lol kevin is like that he gave me a deal too for 3 domes, 2 single nozzle and one double nozzle along with the aquazamp kit

the rain dome is an attachment that is hooked up in place of a misting nozzle...The intervals and duration is all set up via a timer.
