Quiet food!

The crickets will not shut up, at all. My Karma isn't a big fan of meal worms, I need a quiet main food.

From what i've read and seen... Roaches fit the bill ..

Buy medium sized crickets in amount you can use for a week. Only larger adults are noise makers.

Try putting a few paper towel rolls in there and remove any eggcrates. There is a drastic difference in the sound they produce when they are bunched up in a small space...hardly noticeable and I actually appreciate the small sounds they make now.

Buy four week old crickets, as they do not yet chirp.
Try also butterworms, silkworms, dubia roaches, hisser roaches, turk roaches, blue bottle flies, moths, indian walking stick insects, terrestrial isopods, etc.

i keep mine in a rubbermade in my coat closet.i don't hear them at all.

Dubia roaches are a great option if you aren't from Florida

Put them outside.

Or, view their song as beautiful. It's really a choice you make.

Good options include: dubia, silkworms, hornworms, supers (in moderation).

Definitely roaches and worms, or locusts which always seem to be pretty silent to me??
