Quick decline? Any suggestions?

Has she been on the floor all day or did she go back up into the plants? How is she acting now?

I can't see the pics.

Once i got her back up in the plants she hasent "gone" back down. The girlfriend found her hanging from her back legs, and put get on a branch, and when i got home she was laying on her side, being held up by a few leaves. Eyes have remained open from what i have observed.

Oh goodness she really needs a vet..

Yea I know, to bad tomorrow is sunday and the only places that are open dont know *&^% about chameleons, Im calling the highly recommended Dr Alfonso first thing monday morning.

She looks OK in the pics. Does she try to get away from you at all or is she just laying there?

like ill put my hand in there to pick her up and she dosent struggle at all. once she is on my hand she walks around a little. but as soon as she gets in that cage she dosent move too much and just kind of lays there

Could she be impacted, maybe? You could try gently squeezing her lower regions to see if there's anything firm in there. (when I took my veiled to the vet she checked for impaction that way) When was the last time she pooped? If it's been awhile maybe you could try letting her lower body soak in warm water...

I lost a beardie to impaction. She had stopped eating all together and didn't move much. Also, I've heard they can actually get paralysis in their back legs. Chameleons are different, but it might be similar symptoms...

Good luck... waiting through the weekend to be able to go to the vet is a horrible feeling. :(

I felt her belly, but idk what im feeling for? it was soft. I gave her a "bath" in warm water this morning, let her sit for 10-15 mins in warm water, i will do the same tomorrow. she pooped yesterday, havent seen it since, i need to look in her tree a little more....

Sounds like that isn't the problem then. It's good that she is pooping and at least eating a little bit. :)

Yeah, softness is good. If there's hardness in that area it either means there's material that hasn't digested (which could lead to impaction) or eggs.

Hope the vet can shed some better light. If you've only had her a week and this just happened, it sounds suspiciously like she might have possibly had this problem when you got her... at least that's what it sounds like to me.

Today she wont drink on her own no i am doing it myself...:(

her eyes are closing randomly now.

whats the best way to make her eat?

Nothing's gotten better? It's getting worse? Definitely need a vet.. and a good one too.. hoping for pictures soon.

Hopefully going to see the highly reccomended Dr. Alfonso.

There are pics, i got the links working.

Not getting better, not really worse, its just a bad situation...I really dont want to go to work today but, i know some peace and quiet will help her...
