Hey chameleon lovers! I’m going to be getting a chameleon in a month or so, and i was wondering if anyone may have some tips and tricks to help me out on chamemeon care. Any help will me much appreciated, thanks!
Hello and welcome to the forums looks like im the first to greet you. I had a cham back in october that i purchased from a pet store and it died about 3 weeks after i got it. The first thing i ever learned was to not buy them from pet stores as they are often handled poorly and can have some issues. From what i read on the forums Matt Vanilla Gorilla has some amazing panther chams that he breeds so you can message him. I would also suggest a website called Kammerflage kreations. They deal with all kinds of panthers and they are absolutely beautiful. Thats actually where i plan on getting my second one. So yeah, dont get them from a pet store and do all your research and have your enclosure good to go before they arrive. I have spent 6 months researching and gathering things since my last one died because i was absolutely heart broken and i dont want to feel like that again for a long time. I am extremely confident about my next one because of my research which mostly came from posts here on the forums. Best of luck

What type of chameleon are you looking for? That makes a big difference regarding care. Veilds are a great starter cham. and there is a member @jannb who has some awesome baby veilds. You can pm her to get information.
