Pothos wilting?

O. That’s not so bad then, but still don’t like the idea. I was thinking that you were taking the stuff from the filter, mixing it with water, and then pouring it on the plants.

Nooo, id never put that clotted stuff in there it would prob rott and stink up the place. An also it was only few ounces of water not like a liter.. of course its important to exercise caution with an occupying animal

Since most of us use organic or sterile soil.. i didnt want to put store bought fertz an defeat the purpose

I don't know if there would be any harm, and I know the impulse answer is to say "Don't do it" just to be on the safe side, but I can't think of any microorganisms that would be dangerous to a lizard after being placed onto soil. I guess there could be, but I'd reckon that the benefits of the nitrates, etc would far outweigh the risk. I'm wondering if there would be a safer method that may remove any risk that anyone has used. Sounds like a great enclosure thread topic! I think I'll start one! :)

@Char333p i can admit when I’m wrong and looks like I was wrong here. Your method of adding nutrients to plants might even be a great idea. Sorry for jumping down your throat and calling your idea stupid.
I will be following that thread!

Thank you, but no worries, i try not to take offence, i admit its definitely not a well brushed upon topic, and of course i understand concerns related to it. Definitely does make an interesting topic an should be looked into more as it conerns vivs

I'd love to have your input in the thread about fertilizing plants that is linked above! I like the idea!
