Possible edema? not quite sure

Today I noticed an almost wart like area in my Female panther chameleons armpit area. It was 100% not there yesterday. It is larger on the right side then on the left. Ive done some searching and think this might be an edema... Can anyone confirm. I am planning on increasing the frequencies of misting during the day and am going to stop supplementing for the next week. Please let me know if this is a terrible plan or a good one? any input or advice is appreciated.

I would like to add that when I touched it, it was not hard... it left like extra skin and was quite soft. Also she has been quite active today

That does not look like edema. I have seen females get the pouches under their arms though and I am not sure what it is. I have a female leopard geckp that gets the pouches also and then it goes away.

What Geckos get are called calcium pouches I think. If it's what I am think you are talking about. However I don't think, though I am honestly not sure, that chameleons get this.

Edit: I think most female Geckos get it when they are gravid. Though once again not sure, have not researched it enough.
