Plant Help

I just got a tropical hibiscus from a local shop and I think it will have pesticides on it. Is there a way to get rid of pesticides on a plant? If not, can anyone tell me a good online organic nursery to find dwarf umbrella trees, tropical hibiscus and golden pothos. thanks.

Pot the plant up in fertiliser free compost and leave for 3 weeks and the fertilisers will be gone. You can also wash the leaves. if it is just a sunning bush then it should be fine to use straight away.

I would still wash the plant no matter what.. you never know what they use anymore.

okay. do any of you know any online nursery that sells the plants pesticide and fertilizer free.? thanks

I agree with Syn, wash it. You can put in the bath/shower and wash gently with soapy water (cold not hot) and rinse, then re-pot your naked (bare roots) plant in organic soil.
