Lmao, you know me. We actually just bought a bunch of really cool rose bushes for our garden outside. Wife picked them out, but I'll end up taking care of them. Amazing colors I've never seen, they were normally 50$ for a small one, but marked down to 8 because a deer chewed them up lol. Growing back fast though. I wanted them for my stickbugs! Half our garden is raspberry, blackberry, grape vine, and rose... just to feed bugs...

I tend to enjoy plants for their natural look more so than pretty flowers. So many people go to our nurseries to pick out the same old unoriginal flowers that die after every summer. I'm the lunatic with nepenthes pitchers as my hanging baskets around my porch. Even my plants eat meat.

Are those cryptanthus planted in that soil? And if so, how do you find they do in that? I've only ever used them mounted onto cork with sphagnum moss and garden wire. One of my faves!
