today shes hanging out at the top of her cage, the highest point possible, since i still have her laying bin in there it makes the sticks higher than they should be

her colors are purdy today

she still closes her eyes some times (although its more rare now)

(i feel bad for her little toes)




EDIT: here is Annie on June 11th of this year.

P.S. i have not finished her new cage yet. me and my boyfriend have been very busy with work; putting the screen in the sides in not so easy to do alone

under that light RIGHT now she is 86*F

she seems fine... not too hot

I would try to keep her a bit cooler low 80's so she want have to lay a clutch. Maybe you could move that branch down.

i'm confused?

i really don't think she has eggs, her belly is getting smaller now that shes "regular" in the fecal department but the vet recommened leaving the egg bin in there "just in case", since we don't know her history, or age for that matter.

Most of the time with less food and a cooler temp. you can keep the female veiled from ever laying eggs.

side note: with under 11% body fat women do not cycle either. there is not enough fat to keep the uterus warm.
