Hi all,

we have worked on our chameleonhomepage. Please post your thoughts and your ideas for improvement. The address is www.mychamaeleon.de
Sorry that it's complete in German but I think the main parts are understanable. And there are many pics

Best regards
Benny:)

Hey Benny,

Congratulations on the new website! It looks fantastic.

If I may suggest, there are a few mistakes in nomenclature, where the specific epithet ending is not consistent with the genera's. For example:

Kinyongia oxyrhinum should be Kinyongia oxyrhina.
Trioceros jacksonii merumontanum should be Trioceros jacksonii merumontanus.

Etc...

In the case of Kinyongia, the specific epithet's ending should be changed to "a" because the new genus has a "feminine" ending. K. tenue is changed to tenuis because "is" is a neutral ending, and therefore does not require an "a" ending.

I did not get a chance to review the other taxa, but if you maintain gender consistency in nomenclature, you'll be safe.

Also, I would change Trioceros jacksonii willegensis to Trioceros jacksonii jacksonii, with willegensis in parenthesis or with an asterisk as it is not an accepted subspecies.

Other than that, it's a great start... I especially love all the photos!

Cheers,

Fabián

Looking good Benny! I've always been jealous of the terrariums in Europe. They seem to pay more attention to aesthetics than we do! :)
