Who do you guys think are the better/best vets in Los angeles/orange county for chams? Looks like I might need to go for a visit, so I want to see a good one(if your gonna do something, do it right). I'll go anywhere within reason(hour or so drive)

me too! i would love to know

Dr. Greek is well known and has an excellent reputation. He is currently moving to his new location, but go to www.tomgreek.com and all his info is in there.

Dr. Greek is not practicing right now.

Dr. Stein in Beverly hills is awesome. He is the one helping us with the cociddia issue. Great guy and very knowledgeable. He would rank up there with Dr. Greek in regards to reputation.

Actually I spoke with Dr. Greek recently and he said he was. How recent is your information? Isn't he up near you?

Dr. Stein is awesome. A cut-through-the-crap kind of vet IMO and I really like that. Also, Dr. Reimer is in Northridge at Adler Veterinary Clinic and he's really good. Great guy also!

There may be a vet or two at Studio City Animal Hospital or other hospitals but I have a call in to John Holmes at R.A.R.N (Reptile & Amphibian Rescue Network) to get his input about vets around L.A and O.C. He's a great contact.

At the show was the last time I talked to him. I thought he would not be starting up for at least another month. Not sure if I remember correctly or not.

You remember correctly. He didn't expect to have his practice ready until sometime in October when I last heard from him. He said he does emergency work in Fountain Valley on Sunday through Tuesday. Then he sees his regular clients in Diamond Bar Thursday through Saturday. I just thought he was working out of an animal hospital up there. That might work well for you if he is. But then again, Dr. Stein is an awesome vet and worth the drive.

When I talked to him at the NARBC show he told me he was full time on his own clinic, getting it ready. I think he might be seeing people on the side, but he said he was no longer at a hospital taking clients.

I could be wrong, but that is what he was telling my GF and I at his booth.

Sound like their both top-notch. I think stein is actually quite a bit closer though (20 min. to B.H. as opposed to the hour(give or take depending on traffic) to get to diamond bar or fountain valley.

Yeah, for you it makes more sense to see Stein. What do you need to see him for?
