opinions on gendre please

I know this panther is still very young but can someone hazard a guess as to wether this is male or female? many thanks

I'm not the best at this, which hopefully won't cause problems for me, but he looks kinda male because he's kinda grey. A better way to tell is when he's sleeping when compared to his siblings. I think if he was a female, he'd be more brightly colored and pink/orangish.

Like to hear what others have to say, because I could be flat out wrong. I always used to sell mine unsexed.

it was sold to me as a male, im terrible at keeping track of age so i cant be more helpfull there, it is my second young panther in the last few months as the other one was female! i noticed there is a distinct colour difference,this one being more white than peachy colour. Im hoping for a male but if not i will buy another and possibly breed in the future.

I think its too soon to tell. Those are pretty "generic" colors of greytones and black/whites. Typically males will start to display coloration on the lower face area below the eyes, and on the arms. Its too early IMO to see those, but that doenst rule out that its a male quite yet.

I would say in another 2-3 weeks you will have a better idea, if things dont change in that time, then im gonna go with a female

I talked to John and Cyndi from chameleon kingdom about sexing at a young age. Accurately sexing at birth is pretty much impossible to the naked eye but ed from kammerflage creations can supposably identify them at around 5-6 weeks old. Cydi said she talked to him about this and asked him how and he said "i just have a good eye" lol. There must be some secret to sexing at ages like that but im sure as the hobby grows people will be more and more accurate at sexing young panthers.

I would think it is a male because of the defined bars I know they arent colors but definatly bars, not the pinkish color of a female, and the base of the tail. There isnt a bulge at the base but it doesnt seem to be as slender as if it were a female. This is my guess and why I would guess that. This suggestion is from reading and pics I havent sexed any of these critters YET but I cant wait.
