Hehe, Well I got one. Ended up spending about 450 when everything was said and done. He's about 6 inches long, and Male. Not sure what else to say about him, I can't QUITE remember how old he is unfortunately :p (I have a terrible memory) Uhmmm, what else.... OH RIGHT, I've been giving him crickets, which he practically falls off the branch to get, and just tried giving him a mealworm, which, he seemed to enjoy. Since I'm kind of all outta' crickets (didn't get that many, wasn't sure how long they'd all live on a 30 minute car ride) So, is it fine for me to be feeding him mealworms? (It's really going to have to be!) Like, I heard about their shells, so I'd understand not throwing in 2020130 of the things in there, but yeah. Post some feedback to help me out! : )

Thanks in advance, Jordan.

I wouldn't use the mealworms for a staple because they are very high in fat. So, it can potentially cause problems down the road. Stick with roaches, silkies, or crickets for a staple but an occasional mealworm can be a treat.

Hrmmm... Interesting, WELL. Guess I'm going to need some crickets. But uhmm.... Mealworms are going to have to do for a day or two untill I can get some :(

yahh i have to feed my mealworms until next thursday and i havent fed him for a day so i have to get some mealworms today

Mealworms are fine for a day or two, so dont panic, but like chriscarter said, they are not a staple based on fat content, and their makup of primarily chitin - no real "meat" to em that is high in all the good stuff they need.

i like to feed super worms as a treat as well for there high protien content, but yes, like others have said, gut loaded crickets do best for the staple diet of a chameleon.

i would also split his feedings up into 2 sessions .one in the mourning and one in the afternoon. get back to the gut loaded crickets asap though
