I was looking to get another chameleon and the prices are so high!!! I have purchased from a breeder in the past who is a sponsor here and they were always a premium but not sure if I can afford from them this time around.

It's a bummer because I have all the case and infrastructure but I guess I'll just have to save up this time... ugh, inflation man, it's killing me!

I'm sorry for your loss. hopefully you will find another cham soon.
when I was getting my chameleon I went to a reptile expo, I liked it because I was able to talk to the breeders and got to make sure the one I went with was healthy. most of the breeders had some deals there, and there isn't a shipping cost. I was able to get one for a hundred less than on the website, including shipping and everything.

Really sorry for your lost and I’m happy to read you’re staying within this beautiful hobby. And just wait a few more days, weeks, if budget doesn’t fit up right now. Make the eventual correction, let the enclosure thrive and maybe you come across your perfect cham or rescue (they’re also mostly rewarding). Sometimes members need to asap rehome one because of unexpected circumstances.

Oh I hear ya. If I had a penny for each time I've been told that, lol. But they are just irresistible. I took the bigger (almost 3 months old) outside in my huge outdoor enclosure yesterday. It was so funny, their big eyes, got HUUUGE. n they just froze in place, for a good 20 min. Then one of they got curious and began dancing around, n the others followed. It was really cool. I forgot to bring my phone w me, so I couldn't record, darn it!!

They’re just so fascinating. I’ve always wanted one and opportunity came and now I’m hooked. I could watch her move around all day. Even though she usually just sits at her feeder thing and stares at it longingly.

I do that with my chams. I left my veiled's feeder cup in her enclosure all day and she literally sat by it all day long as well. Funny little thing.
