I'm still trying to understand all the ins and out rather than getting a chameleon first.

HOW can you mist effectively with a four sided mesh enclosure without ruining the walls behind. Are there enclosures that are three sided mesh cages with a back of some water resistant element to deflect the spray??

How do you all "do it"? I spray the daylights out of my Red-Eyed Tree Frog's enclosure daily, but it's glass, so there's no problem. I simply don't get the mechanics of it.

Is there a cage on the market like the one I'm describing?

Thanks,
Candy

If the mesh is fine enough, you shouldnt have much getting past and onto the walls. The direction effects alot too. I try to spray so that it mimics rainfall, not a blast coming from the side. If you try not to angle too much, between that and the mesh, yea.. shouldnt get too much on the walls at all.

I know thats not the best anwser in the world, but i just dont have that much of a problem with it at all. I suppose you could put up some plastic on the walls behind the cage to protect the paint and such?
