A couple of weeks ago I had Cagney at a friend's house & he caught his first wild fly...
The last time he was outside in his "fakus" tree he seemed very pleased to catch at least 3 flies...

We went to the pet store yesterday for more crickets & he acted like he couldn't care less about the one I offered him, even though he only ate 2 yesterday....

HOWEVER, a fly landed on the counter & he snatched that right up!!

what a little brat. I hope he isn't planning on my herding flies into his cage for him...

Anyone else find that their Chams prefer wild to bought insects??

Not sure but i had to stop my Cham from doing something disgusting today!! Lol
We was out in the sun and he was on his umbrella tree he did a massive poo!! Then about ten mins later there were flys all over it!! He came flying down his umbrella tree and went to shoot at his own poo cause there was about 6 flys on it!! I had to stop him quick time and got rid of the poo! Can they eat flys then that are in the wild? Cause surely they aren't good as all they do is eat sh*t!! Lol ???

I read an article that stated not to allow them to eat any thing around urban area's, due to pesticides and unnatural stuff that could be in the insect. Not sure if its being over protective or fact, if any one else knows if house fly's are horrible please let me know. I get my panther in a couple months and want to ensure I have a completely safe environment.
