Not In Shed , Chalky and Pale for Days Looking for Assistance

I figured as much when i read that he spends more time in the middle. But i haven't seen a veiled pale like that so i was hoping someone else would chime in?

Thank you for the reply though! I appreciate it, having a bunch of opinions helps!
I have had my guy since he was 2 months. He is 9 now and i learn more and more everyday from the people on here. Also you may want to ask for a husbandry review. He needs alot more branches to climb around on and as i said the rocks for your plants

So i have been using a 60 watt. I just had it raised some when he was smaller to regulate the heat. His basking is around 85. That was taken this morning when he made his way up there when the lights went on
I will do the same as you did then! I really appreciate your help!!!! BTW your chameleon is beautiful!

Your welcome and thank you very much he has become a big part of my life. There are so many little details you have to pay attention to with these guys

Freaky right? I'm the "live specialist" at my work and I ve only seen leopard and crested geckos get that pale in shed. And sages last shed was way different so I knew I was doing something wrong.

You really welcome ! I'm obessed with Sage! I bought him from my work because I didn't trust anyone else with his well being!
I bought my guy from petsmart. Im glad i did because they house them in such tiny spaces. He went from a tiny box to a 6ft x 3ft so he has plenty of room to roam

I hate to say it but my place is no better 10gal tank screen tops. Unfortunately veiled chameleons are popular "corvid pets" we get calls asking for them every day and the boss has me order them . I messed up by ordering sage the first time and ended up buying him. The companys having a hard time keeping up with the demand we basically got a nanocite (baby) yesterday

Not sure what your personal life is like but i bought an automatic mister because i work an hour from home so it was more convenient because i know he always has water
I'm like 15mins from home so it's not bad and I mist throughout the day. How do you feel about the foggers? I was looking into that but I feel like it's more to look cool than do anything

So i dont use a fogger because i have no humidity problems. A fogger will not produce the water droplets that are needed for him to properly drink

Kind of figured! Once I get the new xl cage setup I'm going to look into the mist king. But I think we really actually okay. He walks up to the dipper and drinks right from the tube and when I mist he licks the leaves

There are things you need to change. So i would ask for the husbandry review. You will get lots of responses mostly all the same. More branches rocks for your pots use digital thermometers and hygrometers. I just recently bought a thermpro
