No vet = bad news

Recently I searched for any vet in my area a found out that nearest vet works at least hour and something drive away from where I live. It is really hard to think about. Do you guys have any similar issues? What do you do if cham gets sick?

Where do you live? I might be able to help you find a closer vet. To be honest there's not many good chameleon vets. I use to have to drive 4 hours to my specialist until we moved closer and now it's only an hour. What's going on with you chameleon?

Well first and foremost, you need to have a vet fund. Save money for the unexpected. And don't put it off.
Secondly, if you are going to own a chameleon, you need to have a plan. Maybe there is a local vet who could stabilize your cham in an emergency situation so you can make the drive to see the specialist?
There are ways around transportation issues. But you have to figure out a plan and save some money. Consider the fact that you may need to use some of it for transportation. That just means that saving becomes even more important.
And lastly, your husbandry becomes the utmost of importance. Make sure you are extremely watchful of your cham's normal behaviors and routines. When there'san issue, it's those very subtle changes that can literally save it's life!

I live in Czech republic, little village Paseka

Angelwolf; There is loval vet, 10 minutes away, but he doesn´t treat exotic animals, sadly. I am saving up and watching as close I can.

I'm not sure I can help with a reptile or bird vet there but I will see if
I can search and find anything.

What kind of chameleon do you have and what's wrong with him?

but, in an emergency, he may be able to stabilize your cham enough to give him a chance at making it to the exotic vet. emergency care is the same no matter the species. give support and fluids, then watch and wait. (or in your case, DRIVE!)
