New to chameleons

She’s still not eating I put it up next to her basking spot and put red duct tape on it to be more attractive bc before it was clear. I know she won’t starve but I really wish she w out of eat.

Chameleons generally don’t like the color red, and putting any tape of any type inside a chameleon enclosure is a big no no. They can and will find their way to getting it stuck to themselves, and then you have a serious problem in removing it without causing damage.
Have you had her tested for parasites?

Ok I’ll take it out asap and no I have never tested for parasites

If she continues to not eat, it’s probably best to have a veterinary wellness visit and get a fecal done.

Yes I think she hasn’t eaten since then. She doesn’t look skinny and I did get her super worms. Nothing has changed. Her humidity has gone up I little and I wonder if that might be it. It was in the low to mid 50s and now it’s in the high 50s low 60s. Yes she still poops. I might put her old feeding cup in bc it was bright yellow and she ate out of it a lot but the bugs sometimes could escape. I don’t remember her eating out of the clear one that I put in. I also wrapped the new one in red duct tape.

If she’s pooping, that leads me to believe she’s eating something right? …. Are any leaves missing from your plants? Also agree with ehdee, red is a scary color, I would go back to old feeder maybe it resolves quickly.
