New invention!

It certainly is thinking outside the box, very creative.......so how come I never thought of it - I'm so rarely in my box..........:D

Actually a good point, but they do already make big gloves reinforced with metal for handling monster Reptiles

Actually I'm not sure it would work because the cham still has to be willing to get closer to the human handler....and this may be the primary reason they refuse to. Now, maybe this is why an arm extension (ie: a branch) works.

You didn't read the post I made straight after the one you quoted, did you?

The grass is always greener where it says 'Don't walk on the grass'.............:)

I get 10 an hour for babysitting and if I mention patenting she goes on a rant (like the very old woman she is) about how her dad invented seat belts and patented it and it was stolen and stuff.

i guess yu could but its not fun :((((((( and why would't use just use an ordinary branch? if you bond with your cham more maybe they will trust/want you to hold them more.....
just saying

It's certainly an idea, and I don't see why it wouldn't work for most chameleons. Even the really tempermental ones you can usually scoop up from underneath with your bare hand, but if they looked down and didn't see flesh they probably wouldn't be as bothered.

That said, I think it's easier to condition your chameleon to associate handling with good things than to try tricking it. It takes more time but in the long term it's easier on both of you.

This is my personal opinion but I think that a chameleon that is more tolerant of humans is bound to be happier and more stress-free than one that is terrified by the mere sight of us and lives horrified that he even has to see us every day of his life. It's got to be like living in a dive cage surrounded by a huge shark. You think eventually it's going to get you. So the more you work with food and such to associate short handling sessions with plesant things, the easier it is for him to coexist with you. But others may not agree with me on this.

i think the kids got a patient little heart here. i like this lil member :)

Me haha? That's unusual to hear, nobody really likes me at all irl. You have to be a stick-figure, pink loving, clothes shopping, easy, snobby biooootch to be liked.

I on the other hand am the reptile loving, fun loving, never even kissed a dude chick who wears combat boots instead of heels, prefer horror movie fx like slashed throat, gore, bruises, burns, etc instead of sparkly bedazzled faces, etc.

Yeah, me too - in tribute - this song is starting to sound deep to me now........, maybe I just had too much green!

haha, well being that your 14, you still have plenty of plenty of time to be kissing dudes and dressing sparkly and bedazzled. enjoy being young and go kick some ass in those combat boots ;)

I'm 4'9(shorter than most 6th graders and going to be a freshman now!) and I have 7 foot guys afraid of my boots and my spot on aim for nuts with them.

Haha I'm the shortest in my school.. well old school since I'm starting highschool, YIKES! Yay for freshman beatdown day.. I'll just say I'm a senior with some rare disease.
