New chameleon owner !! ?

CJchams

New Member
After about 6 months of research and preparation I finally got a baby male veiled chameleon from FL chams! His name is Gene Simmons.
I've only had him for about three days and he has already started eating out of my hands. He will see a superworm and come running full speed out of the enclosure onto my hands it's pretty awesome!
I do have a few questions though
1. He is usually green but about two hours before he goes to sleep he changes to the color he is in the picture I put up and he sits by his basking spot like that until it's time for him to sleep. Is this normal? My basking spot is 85 degrees and I don't mess with him about 4 hours before he goes to sleep.
2. Does my enclosure have enough foliage, I think it looks pretty good but I want to get some opinions on it.
3. Sometimes he has been a bluish teal color when he roams his enclosure. Is that normal coloration? I've never seen this before on the forums it's like the color in the picture of him
