well i know for sure that if given the chance, camie wouldnt mind snackin on a few of her offspring. i showed her one of her new babies, she seemed very timid and confused almost like she was a little happy and uncomfortable. weird. after a couple minutes i let the little one crawl onto the outside of her cage. the holes are big enough for the little guy to get through. thats when she seemed to start opening her mouth slightly and had her tongue aimed at the little guy! i had to put my hand in front of her face long enough to get the poor fella off her cage. and here i was thinking what a good mom she was, now im thinking of naming her chamnibble!

Chams dont have the maternal instict, its a case of lay the eggs and leave. Its not her fault

Just curious, is this your first clutch to hatch? I don't think it is wise to be handling the babies, JMO.

i really dont handle them much at all. yes its my first clutch
