Mouth Rot

How serious is mouth rot... 2 days Saturday i noticed that my Jacksons mouth was looking odd.. took him to my local Reptile store they told me looks like Mouth rot. ive gotta vet appointment for Thursday, but is this something that need attention ASAP or will Thursday be oK?

Hopefully Thursday will be okay. The sooner you start to treat mouth rot the better. It can get bad fast in some cases and others move more slowly.

Its important that the areas be cleaned out and that the vet culture the debris that is removed so that the appropriate medication can be given to your chameleon. Even with doing all of this chameleons are prone to it recurring or being difficult to get rid of in the first place.
