Gaping mouth

Hello!
This is my girl Ali, she has been doing this for the past couple of days and I’m not sure if the issue is mouth rot, respiratory infection, or something else. Please let me know if I need to take her to the vet asap.

Please post some photos of all of her.How old is she?

Does she have an egg laying bin in her cage?

What’s the basking temperature? Is she sitting in the basking area when she’s doing it?

How much do you feed her in a week?
What supplements do you use and how often for each. I’m particularly concerned about D3, prEformed vitamin A, calcium.

Here is a full pic I took of her while she was doing it. She just developed her colors around 2 months ago. She only does it in her basking area which is currently at 81 degrees.

I have been giving her 4-5 large crickets dusted in the repti calcium every day and then twice a month I give her 3 dusted with reptivite

That looks as though your Chamaeleo calypatratus is thermoregulating if your Chamaeleo calpatratus is doing that behavior only while basking. That is normally done under a basking spot without opening their mouths. However I have had chameleons open their mouths while thermoregulating before. I would keep an eye on that behavior.

Best Regards
