mouth rot???

I need some advice please. My vet told me this is not mouth rot,but still prescribed some silver sulfadiazine cream.I am really new to chameleons and i appreciate any help.My cage is set up correctly for temps,humidity,etc.

Post this in the health clinic. If the picture doesnt work thats fine as long as you post all your temps and husbandry and stuff like that people will be able to help you.

Ok i dont have any experience with this, BUT i read about this. It is some sort of growth and given time will grow and eventually fall off. I will look for the old thread. The person had basically exact photos like yours and they said it would grow, fall off, and then repeat. I believe the chame eventually stopped having these "growths" as it got older. Def not mouth rot.
