mist king temp

i just placed a heater in my 5 gal pail for the mist king, what would be a good temp for the water. the room temp is 72 deg. thanks

What kind of heater do you use? I have Mistking too. I'd like to put my cham in his new enclosure today.

its a 50watt aquatop summersible heater with a thermostat so if you have 2gal or 5 gal in the pail it will only get to your desired tempeture. $10 on amazon. iam getting a reading of 85 deg think im gonna keep it there

Be careful, the warmer water will encourage bacterial growth and you will really be diligent keeping it all clean.

I keep mine at 90 degrees. By the time it gets misted to them it is a lot cooler. They have loved it ever since I added the heater. They dance right under it now. Before they were hesitant but ever since I heated it they love it. Don't worry about the heated water causing any bacteria unless you have a fish tank or no drainage.
