Mist king V5 not starting unless used for days

I recently got a new mist king v5 and set it up right. The only issue ive noticed is that when it runs out of water and I let it keep going even for over a few seconds it stops working for a few days and the only way to fix it is to keep turning it on and off for a few days in a row until it randomly starts working again. This has been going on for about a month now since I got it and im tired of it since I thought it would go away eventually and was just a minor flaw since it is new. If I am missing something that is on me but I don't have any issues with it but this. Has anyone else had this issue and what should I do?

When it runs out of water, you need to unhook the water output tubing from the motor and then set it to run for a few seconds (over a bucket) to ‘bleed’ out the air. Turn it off and then put your output tubing back in. If it is running dry often, either set a calendar reminder for yourself or switch to a larger water reservoir. I use 5 gal buckets.
