Sadly, he was a neglected rescue. Poor thing was handed it at the livefood shop just a few hours before I went in to buy locusts. The shop owner had him in her arms and his tongue kept flicking in and out, lol! Poor l'il man is really small and was kept in an aquarium with a heat mat, and as a result, had lost several toes, half a foot and half of his tail to burns.
It makes my blood boil that people can keep things like that and not even notice that something was wrong!

Some people don't deserve to keep pets of any kind!
Anyways, I held him in my arms for a while and stroked under his l'il chin while he rested his head on my arm. He kept looking up at me and flicking his tongue at my hair to smell me, lol! He felt wonderful, but rather muscular - like a snake with legs! Only thing is .... I now wish I had room for one of those big guys too, lol!
