Mesh for screen enclosure

Right, guys. I'm going to take the top wooden panel of my current viv and use mesh instead. Since the basking light is going to sit on top of it, what mesh should I use? I'm afraid that some might be toxic when heated or something.

It would be good to use a wider spaced mesh... metal mesh is OK if your cham isn't climbing the 'roof' of the cage still. I would try and figure a way to suspend or elevate the lamp off of the screen. If using metal or plastic, the material will get warm/hot. Be careful with the lamp wattage as to not create too hot of an area for the cham.
