A few of the Lemurs we saw at the Lokobe Reserve. The photos are not the best is was hard to keep the fog off the camera lens in the humid rainforest.

Great photos of some awesome wildlife....were those snakes living in the wild and you were that close to them?..they are beautiful......waiting to see more, Thanks for sharing.

Didn't you just love the lemurs' soft hands? Like being touched with a velvet glove. Lemurs with their enlongated faces and lovely eyes are so much more beautiful than most monkeys. Did you see any of the tiny mouse lemurs? Indris?

Great stuff Jann, love the leaf tail gecko, you are lucky to have seen him :). Lemurs are officially my brothers favourite animal, due to them being three animals in one (cat dog monkeys :D). I try to tell him they are not actually any of those things but he won't listen......

Those are AMAZING!! I wanted to ask about something. In the 3rd and 5th pictures, there is something green above the lemur. You can see it better in the 3rd picture. What is that?

I have loved looking at your pictures! Looks like your family had an experience you will never forget! Thank you for sharing the pictures with us!

Looks like an unripe jackfruit to me. They are the weirdest fruits...with fleshy spines all over the rind, huge, and they grow off the trunk of the tree, not the branches too. Fantastic to eat though. Tastes like a cross between a pineapple and a banana. You can get them from roadside vendors in many areas.

wow!!!!! what an abundance of beautiful, and some a bit creepy, animal life you were able to see and photograph!!!!!!
are those wild lemers that Lizbeth was photographed with? just amazing pics!!!!!

Once again - great photos! Amazing variety of wildlife that you got to see! What a variety of food those chams have to choose from!

Thanks so much for all the looks and nice comments about the photos.

Yes, we were close to the snakes and the first one was a mean one.

I absolutely loved the lemurs. Their hands and fur were incredibly soft. I don't think we got to see any of the mouse lemurs. If we did I didn't know what they were.

Carlton was correct it was Jackfruit and our guide said it taste very sweet.

Wow! They sound so good! Thanks for letting me know what they were. I haven ever heard of them.

I don't care if I have to eat Raman noodles for the next 5 years to save up the money - I'm going to Maddy!!! Your photos were amazing - spotting that leaf tail gecko was incredible, and being that close to lemurs would have been so exciting! I'm blown away by your photos, Jann, excellent work!
