Looks like I'm gonna be a dad

I got my tax check today , so I'm ordering the deluxe starter kit from Tiki Tiki Reptiles today . Since it's Friday , looks like next week I'll be the proud dad of a not-so-bouncing-more-like-crawling baby girl veiled chameleon . Ah , the joys of fatherhood . Of course , today , I'm going to go buy a new DSLR camera to take pix of the little dickens with .

Im just curious why you went with a female? It's not a bad thing, i just like to know what drives people to pick the Chams they keep.

Actually , I asked them what age , sex , and kind of cham came with the starter kit . That's what they said they send .

Oh ok. In that case i 2nd what camimom posted. Females need lil extra care when it comes to egg laying, temps and suppliments. Just a heads up. (If you are not partial to a Female. See what extra it would cost for a Male, if anything extra at all)

I've been talking with her since I joined this site , learning all I can from her ( not to mention reading up on chams for a couple weeks now in my spare time ) . I also sit back and read posts and problems from other members and pay attention to the advice you all give . Heck , I'm even gonna stop smoking in my room ... with her in my room , I'll go outside to smoke if I want one ( and with my knee the way it is , I won't be smoking so much ... lol ) .

See, the rest of the world just doesn't understand how chams improve out lives. Your girl has already got you smoking less and she hasn't turned on all her charms yet. Got ahold of Darcy at Tiki Tiki Reptiles at midnight last night ( slept through her return call to me in the afternoon ... lol ) . Placed my order ... the cage and kit will be here by weeks end , and I should have my little bundle of joy the following Tuesday . Can someone please fast forward time to that date ( well , after the Super Bowl fast forward it ) . I can't wait .
