1.) I understand i need to wash the live plants, but what about its soil will it hurt a chameleon, and also should i quarantine the plant for a while to ensure there is no bugs in it, if so how long.

i bought pothos and hibiscus, i still dont have the chameleon yet, but am very eagar to get one at this point.

2.) I'm really worried about where to get my cham., i feel like i still dont know enouph about their physiology to just go out and buy one, meaning i kind of know what to look for when im buying a chameleon, but once i go to the pet store and hold one im now unsure of its health or how to even know for sure its ok......

im hoping for reassurance from you guys or just a supplier to buy from you all know and trust!!!!!!!!

Change the soil with organic potting soil that has NO chemical fertilizer, conditioner, or pearlite (or any chemical stuff).
Usually, i give about 3 to 5 days be4 introducing it to your chameleon (but that is because i always set up the cage a week or two before the chameleon arrive to see what do i need to adjust -temp and humidity wise).

Go buy online with reputable breeders (I recommend kammerflage kreations and flchams). You will get a healthy chameleon. Research research research.

for veiled, right?
I say for baby, imho, basking point should be in around 85 F and should not raise above 90 F.

ambient temp 70- 80F

humidity is good around 50 - 70% with spikes after misting.

yes for veiled, ok sounds good ill make the adjustments if needed

Just remember that 85 F is quite hot already for baby.

Try to make it constant as best as you can..
