I know is a bizarre question and topic but would there be anything beneficial from tea leafs like the dried one in the little tea baggies i love tea i made some earlier thats when it hit me why isnt tea leaves used? Does anybody use it, has anybody ever thought of it.

I don't think that's a good indicator...let's see the caffeine content of basil or alfalfa or other "good for feeders" food....I suspect they're right up there. Plants contain stuff we'd never imagine. I recently checked into alfalfa pellets (we feed them to our guinea pigs) and discovered they were 17% protein. Who would have guessed that?

Point taken. Thanks for the correction. :)

A big reason why people use alfalfa is because of its high protein content? Also good calcium....
