Lights over laying bin?

When Transfering to a laying bin do you also set up a basking lamp for them?

You can set up a basking lamp, if its an inescapable laying bin. Seeing as your in MN, it might help keep the temps in the right zone. What I usually do is use like a 60 watt incandescent a little higher up than what I would normally do for a basking lamp, just so I can see and she can see, you don't want her completely in the dark, plus it adds a little heat as well.

I usually just use a fluorescent long linear tube UVB light over the laying bin. Its a closed space the way I set mine up so I don't want to overheat it.
