OK, i just replaced the UVB lights on my chameleon cage. The cage is 24 x 24 inches Width. And just over 3 feet tall. I have two 18 inch uvb tubes. I use to have two 5.0. Now i have a 5.0 and a 10.0. I thought that since he is over a year old now, that it would be adequate for him to have a 10.0 tube. ( one tube is in the front of the cage and the other one is in the back. Both are on the top of the cage.)
My question is, how close does a cham have to get before getting burned by one of these higher spectrum tubes? (10.0) I have scene some pretty bad cham burns in the past, and i don't want my cham to have to go through it.
