Lighting timer

What time do you guys have your lights come on in the morning? Mine come on at 5:45 am and shut off just before 6 pm. I wasn’t sure if this is too early or if it’s ok

Mine are timed for 8 am to 8 pm for the time being as I have to turn on my UVB manually as too old of a fixture to be properly used with a timer. Essentially my timer turns my UVB off for me while I'm at work. However, when I get a newer fixture, I'll be setting up my lights to turn on at about the same time as the sun starts to rise.

It's not too early. As long as your chameleon has 12ish hours of darkness and sleep as well as follows a diurnal schedule you should be fine ^^
