I have a ZooMed 100 w power sun lamp on my cham and he is doing great. the umbrella plant on the other hand is struggling. Any suggestions on an additional light to help the plant?

Add another flourescent fixture to bring light levels up. Cost effective and does not add any additional heat.

My umbrella plant responded very well after the addition.

supposedly a 6500k flourescent tube is what you want. I am looking for one for the same reason but have not found one that is 18 to 24 inch long and t8 type.

Absolutely. These bulbs are the best. And not very expensive - about $15 for two bulbs and the fixture. I too had trouble finding it in a smaller size, so I have the 4 foot lights to put across two cages. But I've heard that walmart sells them smaller? Not sure.
