It's been two months since my last post here, Leif is just finishing up a shed!
Here you can see a horizontal 'line' of skin start to cloud up!
Lief being grumpy in his new DragonStrand enclosure!
I caught him in mid bowel movement here!

Well it's been a month or so, might as well update this thread!
His colors always change and it seems his bars stay red nowadays. Excited to see what the next shed will show!

Depends on your definition of well lol. He pretty much refuses everything but crickets(and superworms which I only feed on weekends)
He'll snatch a wild caught moth in seconds but turn his nose up to hornworms, bsfl, etc.

Leif's got some healthy weight on him
My Toby will actively hunt crickets throughout his cage. ANYthing else usually takes persuasion and patience to catch his attention.

Ok guys, haven't updated this progress thread since November, and he just went through a full body shed which I find odd since he's almost two years old. Anyways, on to the pictures!!
Thought this was hilarious with the cricket on his head.
The beginning of his almost week long shed. Poor itchy guy.
Showing off his sambava 'U'bar and slowly going through the process.
Not a happy camper at all. Literally wouldn't come out at all until it was over lol.
Pretty much done and in a much better mood. He's added some good looking red rain to the vertical bars.
Such vivid lime green going on and chubby body like his sire the great Tormund Giantsbane.

I love watching chameleons shed. It is so satisfying, and when they finally emerge, I can't help but feeling proud. I can see why getting an entire new layer of skin might be a little taxing for them, no wonder they're so sleepy! He is so beautiful, and it was great to see how much he has changed since this thread was first started.
