well sambavas dont have green or blues in their bars like this guy. some say he looks ambilobe, then when he flares they say sambava. its actually quite funny cuz most ppl for the 2 yrs hes been in captivity claimm that theres no way he is ampiskiana, and that its not a real locale. ampiskiana is between ambilobe and sambava,n and right above andapa! if he were to look like any of these locales it would actually be ANDAPA. if you ever see a sambava with when fired up, green or blue in the actual bars means that somewhere in the line is either andapa or ampiskiana. my male looks ambilobe at cold rest, in warm/hot resting colors he looks ampiskiana. and when he fires up his blue bars somehow dissapear and turn GREEN! if you even walk in the room he runs across his free range lunges out on his 2 back feet and tail, reaching to say hello. put your hand up there and he almost jumps on you! sambava cant actually turn out this way because they are so far into the RED spectrum of locales. and if someone has a wc sambava that looks like this i both want a female from him and let them know hes ampiskiana
theres a few people with ampiskiana or andapa or both in their sambava lines. its a disgrace that i cannot locate a female for him. you think ambilobes have yellow? PLEASE! from his latteral line up in warm colors he is green and ltteral down he is yellow, ALL DAY! and when he sees a female even for two seconds he turns fluorescent yellow(deepest/solid yellow ive seen yet in 10 yrs experience). an el lobo sambava female would be the closest thing to ampiskiana. as el lobo somewhere some how has ampiski or andapa in the bloodline. technically as far as the US industry is concerned, i can still breed him to an ambilobe and sell them as ambilobes. heck everyone else does it and doesnt care. even the people that make 350 a baby do it. just go ask them! ok so we cant get ambato nor ankify here? wrong! its been bred into the ambanja locale time and time again. cleanlinechameleons.com had a real imprted ambato male. they got it luckily im sure with a stroke of nothig short of an anti-miracle. ambato's look almost like an ugly ambanja to some.. or a real locale the experienced. and for that i give chris props!!!!! ambato are a grey backround red/blue bar locale. some call their lack of color dis-tasteful, just like st maries or nosy boraha's. but i think the borahas are so under estimated
