Hi everyone,
I've been doing alot of research on this forum and other sites and fell that I have a good understanding of how to setup the habit, but still have a few questions about feeding.
Cham:
Juvenile Veiled
3 inch long body showing alot of color already.
Male (has spurs on back feet)
Enclosure: (Setting up tonite and tomorrow)
Repti-Breeze 36"x18"x18"
18" Repti-Sun 5.0UVB Floro
75W white basking
live plants (3-4)
non-toxic fake vines
bamboo sticks
Bottom covering
I will have a thermometer hi and low and a hygrometer in the middle
Repti-Fogger Humidifier....not sure where to mount the hose output in the enclosure
Still working on a drip system.
Feeding:
This is what I'm a bit lost on. I understand that there are a few different worms to feed and crickets. Gutloading is neccesary with non-phosphorus calcium powder dusting. Please help me with this.
I am moving in a month and was hoping to wait until after the move to get my cham, but I went to see him at the pet store yesterday and he seemed to be very stressed and defensive. I just want to get him out of the pet store environment. Nothing against the pet store (Critter Cabana, Willamette Valley, OR), I have been going to them for years and they have always been knowledgeable and high quality. Their store just has alot of traffic and my cham is in a cage with another 6 juveniles because they were all rescues.
I have had aquariums and snakes so i understand the time a care needed, just need some details on chams.
Again Thanks for all the help. I am very excited to get the little guy and will get pictures of him and his house up once I have him home. From what I've seen online, he has some awesome coloring for a Veiled.
