Why'd you want your first chameleon?

He was cute.. with these big ol bug eyes, 3 sizes to big for his head. and id never had a reptile before..
now i have 3 and plan to get/breed more.

Agree, She was so cute and tiny - now with 4, and over 100 eggs incubating, we're making a reptile room just for them to FR..... But something about them, how calm and relaxed they make me feel, at peace it seems...

I wanted a more advanced reptile

I had a leopard gecko and a bearded dragon at the time so I decided I wanted a diffrent kind of reptile whose care was only a little more difficult than others and when I got to the san diego show I was going to choose between a jacksons and veiled but I choose the veiled as they are a good beginer chameleon

Why DIDN'T I want my first chameleon?
They're the only reptile I never grow tired of, they always keep me interested. They just work really well for me, even if they are expensive.
