Just crickets?

I've had my veiled cham for about 3 1/2 months now so he is about 4 months old, and have just been feeding him crickets that are being fed sweet potato and apple, with water gel that has calcium. Recently I have tried to get Picasso to eat some mealworm, but he eyes them with no interest. I don't know why, but I would like to know if just feeding crickets would be okay.

Your better off with different types of food. Crickets can be the main source but a variety is best. Try silkworms, hornworms, grasshoppers. You can go to www.lindasgoniebuggie.com for a bunch of different feeders. Great prices and you don't have to buy a ton of them.

yea your chameleon will get very bored with just crickets and mealworms can cause impaction I personally use crickets, silkworms, hornworms, phoenix worms, and superworms as well. I also have used fruit on occasion

Yeah definitely want to mix it up. Right now I'm doing Crickets, dubias and phoenix worms as staples. Adding a few superworms as snacks.

Okay! I've been wanting to try mustard greens for him, but he doesn't like things that don't move. So unless I want to do 'here comes the airplane' with him, how should I get him to eat?

You might also try flies in addition to the other items people have listed. They definitely need variety. Also they need a mix of crunchy hard-bodied insects as well as soft-bodied bugs to keep their digestive tract healthy.

If you can't get your veiled to eat vegetables and fruits directly, try adding more variety to your gutload. Your current gutload items are a good start, but also not a large enough variety.
