Hey everyone, just wanted to share some pics of my little guy Kepler & his cage!

He's a ~2 month old blue-bar Amilobe. I purchased him from TikiTiki at the LV reptile expo a few weekends ago. I originally didn't plan on getting one but Chad persuaded me after several hours of indecisiveness. Luckily I had a cage and some supplies from a chameleon I had ~4 years ago (RIP Newton) so getting things together wasn't too big of a deal. I ended up getting an Aquazamp mister since I'm not home for most of the day, and built him a small DIY feeder cup out of two semi-transparent plastic cups.

So far he's eating 2-5 dusted (calc,calc+D3,herpavite,minerall-O) crickets a day and drinking, but he'll only do it when no one is looking. I take him out for 5-10 minutes daily just so he gets used to being handled; so far he doesn't seem to mind too much.

Anyways thanks for looking - any tips or constructive criticism is appreciated!

Congrats! He certainly is a little cutie. I might would add a few more vines or branches.

Looks good, I would add some large river rocks to cover the soil on your plant though.

he should be eating around 15-20 crix a day...are you dusting with all 3 supplements at every feeding? you should use calcium w/o d3 at almost every feeding and the d3 calcium and multivitamin supplement only twice a month

also, i would make the bottom part of the feeding cup opaque, i just wrap some duct tape around it...if the cham can see through, he might shoot his tongue at the side trying to get them and damage his tongue

Hrm, he seems to get bored quickly after a few and just head back to his basking lamp. I usually put 5-8 in and they're gone by the next day. So he's either eating them or they're escaping. I'll throw a few extra in there and see if he eats them. I've also tried superworms but he pretty much ignores them. I use calc w/o D3 at every feeding that I do not suppliment, and do a light dusting of herpavite/minerall-o/calc wD3 once a week at the recommendation of Chad from tiki.

So far he's been really good about finding the opening. I made it difficult to get to by only having one branch going in front of it.
