Jasper is A-OK!!!!

So just got done with the vet and she said jasper looks really healthy for his age. He weighed in at a fatty 6 grams . The vet said that Jaspers side looks really well and that I shoud thank whoever told me to use silvadene becuase that was good advice so thanks to all of you!!!! The vet also gave me some baytril solution. She also gave me betadine to scrub jaspers side... But all in all he will be ok!!! I am so happy that everything went well today!!!

If Jasper is okay then why the baytril? Unless he really needs it I would hold off as it is pretty hard on chams. But if the vet had a reason I am NOT trying to second guess your vet.

She said that it is a VERY dilutid mix but just because of how bad the burn WAS she wanted just to make sure there was no infection of any sort. She said the skin looks fantastic and the only problem is that Jasper may have a scar for life...

When I got him from the pet store they gave me everything i "needed" (so they say) to put in my cage. Well that included a uvb coil bulb and thats where the burncame from... I went into that pet store and they are now giving me free cickets because I helpedset their chameleon cage up right so they can sell healthy chams..
