so i recently picked up a gravid female jackson that is supposed to be captive born and raised. i really want to monitor her food intake but just cant get her to eat from a cup any ideas?

Give her some time. For now try hand feeding.

I've used the milk jug feeder when my guys get bored, I think the bugs climbing the back helps stimulate them

My jackson pretty much refuses to cup feed. He will watch the insects in the cup, but never eat them. Hand feeding works for worms though. Good luck
I understand you want to monitor food intake because she's gravid, but maybe later you could just let the insects free roam. Hunting is natural, and gives them something to do. But that's just my opinion.

Maybe try throwing something interesting in the cup to get her attention. Like a couple of big green hornworms or some big silks. If she will hand feed do so over a cup then drop a cpl in the cup before she cant get another.
